I am SCREAMING wiht excitement to get this book club up and running. In honor of the Winter Olympics, or first pick is Wake up, Nat & Darcy by Kate Cochrane. After losing her position as captain of the US Women's Hockey team, Nat agrees to join a broadcast segment at the Olympics highlighting the various sports and trying them out while interviewing the athletes. The only problem is her former college teammate, and secret ex girlfriend, turned bitter rival is the co-host of the segment. Not only is this a beautiful and funny second chance story with all the fun of a hockey romance, but it's set against the backdrop of so many unique Olympic sports and athletes.
